The Studio Inc. was founded in 1964. Originally we specialized in commercial design, custom framing and retail art supplies.
As the business evolved we concentrated more on custom framing. During these years we had framed a few sets of medals and military memorabilia, but it wasn't until 1990 that medal framing became an integral part of our business.
We had run out of gift ideas for my father-in-law and my wife suggested that we frame his medals from the Second World War. They were such a hit that we borrowed them back for our Remembrance Day window display and that's when it really hit the fan (so to speak). The rest is history.
